A great weekend so far for Hunter basketballers in the WNBL.
Last night, Suzy Batkovic played a big part in Townsville’s win over defending champion’s Bendigo.
This afternoon, fellow Novocastrian Katie Rae Ebzery lead the Sydney Uni Flames to victory over the Canberra Capitols.
Ebzery produced one of her best performances in the national league, scoring a career high 29 points in the process.
