Great news for horse racing fans with the Melbourne Cup trophy heading to Taree later this month.
The July 27 stop is part of a nationwide tour to promote the race that stops the nation in November.
The Manning Valley’s own two time Melbourne Cup winning jockey Corey Brown will also return home for the occasion.
Manning Valley Race Club is planning several events to celebrate.
