SCAFFOLDING TO BE REINSTALLED ON MARTIN BRIDGE

Scaffolding will be reinstalled on the Martin Bridge in Taree from Sunday in preparation for repairs.

It’s been months in the making for work on the bridge after it was damaged by the March floods.

Large objects swept down the Manning River and smashed into the bridge, causing damage to scaffolding.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane between 7pm and 5am over five nights.

The repairs will be completed by mid next year.
