Taree’s Nick Larkin will head to the Top End next month for the Strike League T20 tournament.
Larkin will play for Melbourne Stars Academy alongside fellow Big Bash League players Seb Gotch and Clint Hinchliffe.
The Melbourne Renegades will also send an academy side.
Larkin was one of the best with the bat in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Stars last summer.
The two week tournament in Darwin begins August 15.
