FLOOD WASTE REMOVAL FROM MANNING RIVER

Silage waste is being removed from the Manning River, four months on from the flood disaster.

The New South Wales Environment Protection Authority is heading up the project at Manning Point with debris being cleaned up from a boat ramp.

Trucks will collect the debris and transport it to a waste facility for composting.

The clean-up finishes next Friday.
