Sewage testing in Tamworth has found more traces of the virus.
The test was taken on Thursday and confirmed this morning.
It follows an earlier positive sample on August 24.
There are currently no active cases in the LGA – prompting calls for locals to get tested.
Tamworth Regional Council takes samples from the waste facility twice a week.
