COVID-19 restrictions and poor weather have forced picnic races to be cancelled at Talmoi, Wean, and Duck Creek.
But Gunnedah Jockey Club is forging ahead with a new meeting on July 24.
There’ll be six races, with $5000 worth of prizes up for grabs in each.
