TAMWORTH’S JOHN PORCH SIGNS WITH CONNACHT RUGBY IN IRELAND

Australian Rugby Sevens player John Porch is making the switch to the 15-a-side format, with the 24-year-old announcing he’s signed with Connacht Rugby in Ireland.

Since being overlooked for the World Series matches, the Tamworth flyer has been playing for Northern Suburbs in the Shute Shield,

His signing puts a line through any possibility of playing in his second Olympics in Tokyo next year.

However it does give him the option of playing in tournaments like the Europe’s Champions Cup.
