A federal government cash splash is hoped to keep the doors open, at 19 child care centres in the New England.
The region has secured $2.3-million from the Community Child Care Fund – to provide more family support and boost access options in rural areas.
Centres across Guyra, Kootingal, Nundle and Tenterfield have been included in the initiative.
