Despite strong scores, Byron Bay’s Soli Bailey has narrowly missed out on making the final of the World Junior Championships in Portugal.
The talented surfer bowed out in the semi-finals, unable to best Timothee Bisso who posted a final score of 15-point-seven.
Bailey ended up finishing equal-third, with Brazillian Lucas Silverra claiming the title.
