The University of Newcastle has confirmed two students have tested positive for COVID-19.
They live on the Callaghan campus and are now in the care of New South Wales Health.
Close contacts are getting tested and isolating.
“We wish them all the very best as they now focus on their recovery,” the uni said in a statement.
NSW Health has advised that two students staying in our on-campus accommodation at Callaghan have tested positive to COVID-19. NSW Health have transferred these students into their care, and we wish them all the best as they focus on their recovery.
