WINGHAM’S MAITLAN BROWN NAMED IN AUSTRALIAN SQUAD

Wingham’s Maitlan Brown has been selected, in the Australian women’s cricket squad taking on India next month.

Brown has recovered from a serious hamstring injury and is hoping to wear the green and gold for the first time.

She was picked for Australia last year to face New Zealand but didn’t play.

The Indian series includes three one dayers, a day night test match and three T20s.

Brown will also play for the Melbourne Renegades in this summer’s Women’s Big Bash League.
