A man has been charged with the carjacking of a taxi on the Central Coast.
The 36-year-old allegedly used a hammer to demand the keys from a taxi driver at Gorokan on Thursday night.
He then allegedly threatened a couple inside a nearby home before driving off in the taxi.
Police say a pursuit began at Morisset, before the man was arrested and charged with nine offences.
