Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenage girl missing from the Hunter.
13-year-old Tylah Weatherburn was last seen at her home on Bower Road, Medowie at about 8.30pm on Sunday.
Port Stephens-Hunter Police were notified of her disappearance yesterday and have begun an investigation to find her.
Police and family have concerns for Tylah’s welfare because of her age.
It’s believed she left on her own accord and at this stage her disappearance is not being treated as suspicious.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 130cm to 135cm tall, of thin build, with long blonde hair and green eyes.
Tylah is believed to be wearing a black Tommy Hilfiger jumper, grey track pants and black Nike runners.
She is known to regularly visit Medowie, Raymond Terrace and possibly Tenambit.
