ROBSON KNOCKED OUT OF QS 3000 EVENT IN ROUND 5

To surfing and North Coast board rider Callum Robson has narrowly missed out on a win in the Philippines.

The Evans Head product was eliminated in Round 5 at the Q-S 3000 event at Cloud Nine.

Robson found himself in trouble early, struggling to read the famous reef break, before scoring mid-range on two waves.

Philmar Alipayo dropped a late 7.50 to scrape past with the win.

The result is Robson’s best this year.
