Former South Sydney player, David Peachey, is set to strap on the boots for the Bellingen Magpies.
The fullback will play his first match for the Magpies on February 27 when the side takes on the Australian Army Thunder at the Graveyard.
The memorial match is an annual event in honour of former SAS Sergeant Mathew Locke who was killed in Afghanistan in 2007.
Peachey, who works for the Souths Cares program, will play several games for Bellingen when he’s in town.
