WYONG CIVILIAN POLICE EMPLOYEE CHARGED WITH IMPERSONATING POLICE OFFICER

A NSW Police Force civilian employee has been charged with impersonating a police officer on the Central Coast.
In September, police were notified that a civilian employee had allegedly impersonated a police officer online.
Following inquiries, a 34-year-old man was arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station where he was charged with two counts of impersonating a police officer.
He was granted bail to appear at Wyong Local Court next month
His employment status is under review.
