Filipino crew members aboard a bulk carrier, moored in Newcastle, have refused to take the ship to sea, citing a dispute with its captain.
The K Coral was due to leave port at 10am, but instead remained tied up at Kooragang.
A representative from the International Transport Workers Federation was allowed onboard to investigate.
The crew claims intimidation by the Korean captain and officers has led to several sailors requiring counselling.
