Moree has recorded its first covid cases – infectious while in the community.
One case is included in today’s figures, while the other will be counted tomorrow.
The hundreds of guests who attended Gordon Copeland’s funeral last Thursday are now considered casual contacts and must get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.
Additional testing facilities have now been set up in Moree.
Meanwhile, Tamworth recorded another three cases – one in town and two in South Tamworth.
