PLANS RELEASED FOR FIGTREES ON THE MANNING RETIREMENT COMPLEX

Nationals leader Barnaby Joyce has visited the site of Bushland Health Group’s newest retirement complex.

The $25-million development will be the centrepiece of the Figtrees on the Manning precinct, overlooking the river.

“Then it’ll flow into commercial and then it’ll have the recreational type things and all that together in a precinct like this sort of on the edge of town but also in the middle of town… is just going to be great for the community,” Bushland Health Group CEO Denis Hawkins said.

MidCoast Council is expected to sign off on the development application soon, with construction to begin early next year.
