Police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly broke into a Tamworth home on Petra Avenue on Tuesday night.
Police say he threatened the resident with a knife, and demanded cash before fleeing the scene.
Luckily, no one was injured.
The man, thought to be in his 20s, is being described as Aboriginal/Torees Strait Islander appearance, with an large build.
