NEW ENGLAND RECORDS 50 NEW COVID CASES
The New England has recorded 50 of the state’s 244 new COVID-19 cases overnight.
Nearly 90 per cent of New South Wales is now fully vaccinated, with 89.7 per cent of over 16s double dosed.
Most of the Hunter New England’s new infections are from Inverell, with 23 there falling ill with the virus.
Seventeen cases are from Moree, eight are from Tamworth, seven each were recorded in Newcastle and Cessnock, five are from Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens, two are from Armidale and Maitland, and one is from the Mid Coast.
At least 40 cases were infectious in the community, and 15 are still under investigation.
Meanwhile, a disability service in Inverell has been re-classified as a close contact venue.

The Mid North Coast also recorded 20 new COVID-19 cases – 16 from the Port Macquarie Hastings LGA, three from Kempsey and one from Coffs Harbour.
While, nine new infections were recorded in the Norther NSW Local Health District – five in Lismore, three in Clarence Valley and one in Kyogle.
Tomorrow NSW prepares to welcome a raft of new freedoms – including reduced density limits for businesses – as Premier Dominic Perrottet fast tracks the state’s reopening.
From November 8, NSW residents will have no caps on how many people can enter the home, indoor pools can reopen for all purposes and businesses will move to density limits of one person for every two square metres.
The fast-tracked freedoms only apply to those who are fully vaccinated.
Unvaccinated residents and those with just one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine will have to wait until December 15 or until 95 percent vaccination rate in the state to enjoy the same freedoms.
