A man has been charged with attempted murder, after two people were attacked at Goonellabah.
Police say a 51-year-old man and 47-year-old woman were attacked with a machete outside their Kruseana Avenue home at about 10-o’clock on Sunday night.
A 46-year-old man found with injuries at Arakoon on Monday and taken Port Macquarie Base Hospital, where he was placed under arrest.
