A young man is recovering in hospital after being backed over by a tractor on a rural property in the Northern Tablelands.
Emergency crews were called to the accident in Lambs Valley, south-east of Glen Innes, just before 11:30am this morning and found the 29-year-old, suffering a severely fractured leg.
He was stabilised, before being airlifted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter to John Hunter Hospital for specialist treatment.
