A lack of available parking for shoppers in Casino’s CBD may force council to begin handing out short term parking fines.
Currently many of the available spots are being taken up by long term visitors like business owners and CBD employees.
Council says if the problem isn’t solved, it will begin enforcing its parking laws.
“We don’t want people to come to Casino and say they cant get a park and go elsewhere.”
Council plans to meet with the chamber of commerce to work out a long term solution to the parking problem.
