The ongoing upgrade of one of Port Macquarie’s most popular coastal reserves is already proving to be a hit with locals and visitors.
Rotary Park, which overlooks Town Beach, is gradually being spruced up as part of an overall master plan for the reserve.
Work began last March on the first stage of the upgrade which has included the replacement of old picnic shelters and the construction of a new playground.
The feature garden is being transformed into a main entrance and will be home to a variety of native plants in coming months.
