A Coffs Harbour man who assaulted and choked a young woman while on bail has been sentenced to more than two years in prison.
21-year-old Jacob Dolar was convicted earlier this year of multiple offences, including assaulting three people, and of having intent to induce a witness to give false evidence.
Today, Magistrate Gibson said it was clear Dolar showed no contrition or remorse for his crimes, stating there was significant risk he would re-offend.
