An up-and-coming tennis star from Sawtell has taken out the boys’ 16 and under New South Wales Junior Clay Court Championships.
Number two seed Rhys Johnston fought back against Sydney-sider and number one seed Luke Adamus to take out the final two sets.
In the girls’ division, Forster’s Tayla Wilson beat Grafton’s Ashley Elward in straight sets, 6 – 3.. 6 – 2.
