Current world champion Taylor Jensen has proven he’s still got what it takes, after claiming the Australian Longboard Surfing Open in a thrilling showdown at Kingscliff.
The Californian surfer, faced an Aussie assault in this morning’s final which included Emerald Beach’s Harley Ingleby.
The local surfing sensation placed second with a 15.04, almost five-points clear of the Sunshine Coast’s Nic Jones.
The prestigious event, featured both men’s and women’s ASP Longboard Qualifying Series divisions, with a total prize pool of $20,000.
