‘BLINKY DRINKERS’ INSTALLED AT THE KOALA CAPITAL

A new initiative is helping to provide some much-needed relief for our furry friends this summer.
Six water stations have been installed at Gunnedah to reduce the impacts of soaring temperatures on local wildlife.
And it seems the ‘blinky drinkers’ are already proving a hit…
Funded by the state government, in collaboration with the University of Sydney, the stations hope to help threatened koalas keep hydrated in and around the koala capital.
