WEATHER UPDATE: SPRING LOADED

Spring storms have been flaring up consistently on and near the northern New South Wales ranges and border towns. They have again fired up this afternoon in the far north.
The coast is cooler thanks to the latest southerly which has produced a cover of cloud jammed up against the eastern side of the Divide.
The North West Plains are again extremely hot and that pool of hot air sitting over central Australia will begin to move eastward from Thursday.
On Friday and Saturday temperatures will hit the high 30s and 40s for most, with dangerous bushfire conditions expected, especially in the Hunter.
