A woman has been arrested after allegedly leading police on a car chase through suburban streets at Wickham in Newcastle.
Police say the car failed to stop at a random breath test point and continued on with up to six police cars in pursuit.
The chase came to an end when the car left Harrison Street and crashed into Throsby Creek.
