Flood affected Catholic Schools told to relocate to keep insurance coverage

Four flood affected Far North Coast catholic schools may be forced to permanently relocate campuses.

Lismore Diocese has been told by its insurance company it would have to make changes to receive continued coverage.

The schools affected include Our Lady Help of Christians in South Lismore, St Joseph’s Primary Woodburn and South Murwillumbah, and Trinity Catholic College Lismore.

The Dioscese says it will hold community consultation sessions in the coming weeks.
