A man believed to be in his thirties has died after a single vehicle crash on Werris Creek Road at Currabubula this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene just after 8.30, following reports a car had left the road and crashed into a power pole.
Police say the white Toyota Camry was travelling from Werris Creek to Tamworth.
Paramedics worked for about an hour to keep the man alive, but he died at the scene.
Investigations into the cause of the incident are ongoing.
