Taree snooker players move into new facility

Taree Snooker and Billiards Club is ‘no longer behind the eight ball’.

Club Taree reversed a decision last year to remove their tables, and built a brand new facility instead.

And this week members have moved in.

“The club itself has been going since 1976 so that was when the club was first made but they were playing social then at the old club down on the riverbank,” the snooker club’s Roy Piesley said.

The club has also confirmed the acclaimed Champion of Champions tournament will return in June next year.
