Knights legend and local hero Danny Buderus was back home in Taree pouring beers at the Royal Hotel.
Joined by fellow former Knights star Kurt Gidley – the pair have finally brought their beer ‘Steel City’ to the region.
“Been out for about 18 months now myself Bedsy, both the Johns boys involved and some mates from the surfing industry,” Kurt said.
“We’ve had a look at Newcastle now just spreading our footprint up this way a bit so yeah a lot of people up this way and out in force today,” Danny added.
And with the first 100 beers on the house, it attracted quite the crowd.
