11 flood-affected mechanical apprentices have had the opportunity of a lifetime – attending the Gold Coast 500 on the weekend.
The students – from Lismore TAFE – were gifted free, front-row tickets to the Supercars event on Sunday.
The tickets – which were gifted by Optus – also allowed the apprentices to take an intimate tour of the pit.
