Newcastle Rugby Union is trying to scout out some future stars of the game, by holding “come and try” days for the next month.
These students at St Josephs Merewether enjoyed one of the first events, supported by The Hawthorne Club.
The program aims to introduce kids to the sport, and improve their core skills and activity levels.
