A school bus left a slippery 20 kilometre trail and had fire crews scrambling across Lismore and Goonellabah this morning.
A dozen clean-up crews started mopping up oil that leaked from the bus just after 9am, with the affected roads reopened by 11.
Drivers are still advised to take extra care in the area.
