North Coast Bulldogs draw Northern Tigers for junior rep league season opener

The North Coast Bulldogs will take on Northern Tigers to kick off the 20-23 junior rugby league representative season.

The sides will meet on February 4 at Kempsey in the opening round of the Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley Cups.

22-player squads were picked this week following the Bulldogs trial against Central Coast last Saturday at Tuncurry.

For Wingham Tigers junior Lleyton Moore, it’s a dream come true.

“Yeah its pretty good you know exciting,” he said.

“I reckon we’ve got a pretty good squad going but we’ll see how it goes when it all kicks off.”

10 sides will contest the competitions.
