GAV’S WEATHER | WARM AHEAD OF AN ICY POLAR BLAST

Clear skies dominated the nation today, but that high in the Tasman is getting squashed by two lows and is now loosing the battle.
Some cloud did roll in across the SE corner today, and that is the system that will reach us on Sunday, producing very cold temperatures, along with some inland rain and snow for the higher peaks.
A very mild start to the weekend is on the way – Saturday will see cloud increasing ahead of a rain band and cold out break, generating snow for the northern NSW ranges early next week.
