Music festival raises funds and awareness for sexual assault organisation

A music festival with a twist took place in Newcastle yesterday, with ‘Safe Sounds’ focusing on patron safety.

The event is thought to be the first of its kind in Australia, raising cash for a sexual assault awareness organisation and also giving local musos a boost.
