A man has died following a two-vehicle crash near Narrabri today.
About 1.30pm (Monday 13 February 2023), emergency services were called to the Newell Highway, about 16kms south of Narrabri, following reports of a crash.
On arrival, officers attached to Oxley Police District were told a car and a truck had collided.
The male driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.
A female passenger sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
The male driver of the truck was not injured.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
