The Samaritans have received a delicious boost ahead of their annual Christmas Lunch in the Park.
Today, almost 100 kilograms of puddings were donated to the charity by Newcastle’s Pudding Lady.
This year, the lunch will see more than a tonne of food served to over 800 people at the foreshore rail sheds.
The event relies on community generosity – and it’s alive and well, with more than 200 volunteers already signed up to help out on the day.
