A former Catholic priest in Armidale has been charged with 25 historic child sex offences against three girls in the 1970s and 1980s.
Police arrested the 59-year-old man at his home this morning after a three month investigation.
The victims were aged between five and 18 at the time of the alleged offences.
The Catholic Church sacked the priest in 2005.
