Newcastle Knights Head Coach, Adam O’Brien, has named his 22-man squad for the first home clash against the Dolphins at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The Knights have today accepted a five-week suspension for prop Jacob Saifiti, who was sent off the field on Sunday for a high shot on Wests Tigers player Jake Simpkin.
He joins a long list of injured players on the sideline for Friday’s game against the Dolphins.
Kalyn Ponga has been ruled out with concussion, and is expected to be joined in the casualty ward by Jayden Brailey (concussion), Adam Elliott (groin), Kurt Mann (calf), Jack Johns (ankle), Simi Sasagi (shoulder), and Krystian Mapapalangi (shoulder).
