Two men have fronted court accused of bashing tram security guards in separate weekend incidents.
Justin Robertson is accused of assaulting a 61 year old guard at Cavill Avenue station on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, Joel Broughton (brought-on) allegedly bashed a 55 year old officer in the head at the Gold Coast University Hospital station on Sunday morning.
Released on bail, the 25 year old must now stay away from public transport.
“He was booked to go to Bali on holiday for a week, but he’s not going now.”
He would have flown out tomorrow, now he’ll be forced to submit his passport.
