- A man has suffered burns in an accidental explosion at a Sydney unit, understood to have been caused by a cockroach bomb placed near a hot water tank. The explosion blew out three windows of the ground floor unit.
- An Australian man on holidays has died after he was bitten by a shark while kitesurfing in New Caledonia.
- And footage has emerged, claiming to show a Tasmanian tiger roaming in the Adelaide Hills. The animals have been classified as extinct for decades.
