The Jets nearly blew it again when leading 1-0 at the 90 minute mark by letting the opposition score in injury time at McDonald Jones Stadium on Friday night. At full time, the Jets and Macarthur were level at 1-1.
Brandon O’Neill found space and fired off a left-footer screaming past Bull’s keeper Filip Kurto into the top right hand corner of the net, 5 minutes into injury time. It was excitement mixed with relief with the Jets celebrating the victory on the sideline.
The first goal was scored by Matt Jurman who knocked in a header from a corner in the 79th minute.
The Jets sit on 7th place on the table.
