MARKET GOERS GET AN EARLY SAMPLE OF FOOD FEST

Early morning market goers got the chance to wet their appetites this morning, with a free cooking show and tasting plate served up by celebrity chef, Clayton Donovan.

The spontaneous demonstration was a precursor to Saturday’s Sample Food Festival in Bangalow.

Organisers say they’re confident the election won’t keep foodies from stopping by to try the local produce.

“People in the local electorate can vote at the Bangalow Public School as well, so it’s kind of convenient I think. You can park and vote and eat.”

The food festival kicks off at 8 o’clock on Saturday morning at the Bangalow Showgrounds.
